Grandfather Mountain Highland Games 52nd Grandfather Mountain Highland Games — July 12 - 15, 2006; Grandfather Mountain, Linville, NC   Click on the link to see a photo album of the 2005 GMHG activities.     As in the past, the Montreat Scottish Society will have two tents at the games for members to gather and socializing, as well as for interested persons to learn about the Montreat Scottish Society.    It's a great opportunity to watch the athletic, dancing, fiddle and piping competitions. There are numerous vendor tents offering Scottish items (tartans, crests and crested items, music, food and much more! There's entertainment offered non-stop on numerous stages around the field.    So stop by this coming year and say hello, or rest your feet for a while.
