Kirkin' o' the Tartan Worship Service Sunday, May 29, 2022
The Montreat Scottish Society will host one of the nation's largest Kirkin' o' the Tartan on Sunday morning, May 29, 2022, at Anderson Auditorium in Montreat.
The guest preacher is the Rev. Dr. John Akers, former special assistant to Billy Graham for international crusades, as well as former Academic Dean for Montreat College.
The Pipin' o' the Green by the Montreat Scottish Pipes & Drums will be at 10:15 am approx. with the worship service and Tartant parade starting at 11 am. Banner carriers should arrive by 10:15 am -- no banners are reserved. Only those 15 years and older can carry a banner no groups carrying one banner due to space and timing issues. Fourth of July Parade Monday, July 4th, 2022 - 10:30 am
The Montreat Scottish Society members and the Montreat Scottish Pipes & Drums will gather by 10 am on Lookout Road in front of the college's library on Monday, July 4, 2022, for the American Independence Day parade in Montreat. Come carry a tartan banner or just walk with the Scottish Society. |
